I liked Kreisler's idea of adding a piano accompaniment to this great caprice and creating a showpiece. However, Kreisler made significant modifications and omissions to the original score. While it is a nice arrangement, if you intend to prepare it for a competition, it would completely disrupt your learning of the original version. This caprice is a popular choice for competitions that require caprices. To solve this dilemma and achieve two goals at once - having a showpiece and preserving the original content - I have adapted the piano accompaniment to align with the original caprice. This way, you can have an impressive showpiece without sacrificing its essence and perform it at competitions without the need to relearn it.
My rearranged edition not only includes the score but also a violin part with my thoughtfully crafted fingering, which will save you time by eliminating any potential fingering issues. The bonus includes a Wieniawski-Kreisler PDF score as well as the original version for two violins.
